Closer to the source!

We are so excited to share this episode with all of you.  Based on our production Grinds:  The Story of Food in Hawaii this production focuses on the concept that eating “locally” is healthy for us and for the environment.  Just as lemons are healthier than lemon candy, growing lemons in Hawaii is much better for the planet than importing them.  While we were only able to introduce the topic in this 24 minute episode our partners have amazing resources to continue the conversation.  Please support their work check out some of the resources listed here.

We are so lucky to have great food and a terrific food culture in Hawaii.  We hope that your family or students enjoy this episode and tune in for more episodes of The HI Way coming soon!

Curious To See More!

We would be delighted to have you watch any of our episodes from Seasons 1 or 2 and are in the process of launching a new set of episodes.  Please know that Season 1 was filmed primarily on cell phones from a lockdown situation.  We are proud of all the work we have created and are excited to share it.
