SCHOOL PERFORMANCES AT

Honolulu Theatre for Youth (HTY) and The Sex Abuse Treatment Center (SATC) will again bring free performances of [respect]™ 2.0 to high school students throughout Hawaii in February 2017. The program combines live theater with technology as a platform, to discuss sexual violence prevention in an age of social media.

At the heart of this multimedia piece is a single story, told on two cell phones. Unlike a traditional narrative, the story is told in text fragments, images and incomplete data. The presentation is followed by a facilitated group discussion developed in collaboration with the Sex Abuse Treatment Center.
