Nathaniel Niemi

Artistic Associate, Company Actor

Nathaniel has performed on the HTY stage in Ouch!, Shocka!, and Thumbelina.  HTY director credits include assistant directing H2O: The Story of Water and Hawaii and co-directing You and Me and the Space Between. Nathaniel also directed Extraordinary Stories of an Ordinary Ohana. Nathaniel is a recent UH Manoa graduate with his MFA in Theatre for Young Audiences. Nathaniel has appeared at the Hawaii Theatre in Noodle Doodle Box, in many productions at Kennedy Theatre, and on Hawaii 5-O. Nathaniel hails from Chicago where he toured with the National Theatre for Children, “Clowned” with the Chi-town Clown Revue and Second City Chicago, and originated the roles of Jack in How to Survive a Fairy Tale, Wilbur in Naked Mole Rat Gets Dressed: The Musical and Duck in Dooby Dooby Moo, Duck for President, and Click Clack Boo at Lifeline Theatre. Nathaniel is a recipient of the Kennedy Center American College Theatre Festival National Directing Fellowship.
