Kapono Na’ili’ili

Kapono Na’ili’ili is known for his beautiful vocals as well as his mastery of many instruments. His extensive experience in both the Hawaiian and Contemporary music scenes contributed to Na‘ili‘ili’s desire to create music that reflects himself and his influences. In 2014 Kapono released his first solo album entitled Ala Iki. He has worked with 3x women’s word surfing champ Carissa Moore writing, producing and playing all the instruments on a track called “Love Down On You” digitally released in 2014. Some of Kopono’s more notable collaborations have been with Japanese Pop artist Yuna Ito and the Gospellers, Long Beach Symphony Pops, and multiple Na Hoku Hanohano Award winner Barry Flanagan which lead to him joining the highly acclaimed group HAPA. In 2016 he released his second solo album “In Transition.”
