The HI Way, HTY’s new digital content for families and children, will bring the magic of HTY’s educational stage performances and the resident ensemble’s creative energy into a digital format for viewing at home on any device. The program will be broadcast on Hawaii News Now TV stations (KHNL, KGMB & K5), HTY’s YouTube channel and other streaming platforms.

The HI Way’s 2nd episode, “I’m So Bored,” hits the airwaves this week. (See full broadcast schedule below.) During the process of creating Episode 2, the company faced the challenging task of collaborating and filming from the safety of their homes. The episode was filmed almost entirely on their phones and incorporates youth in the community who participated from afar with the help of their parents.

“I’m So Bored” will begin airing on Tuesday, April 7th. The episode features humorous sketches and songs about what families everywhere are experiencing right now.
