HTY delivers Teacher Guides to all teachers in every Hawai`i school in late spring every year. This guide describes each play and program in our coming season. Call 839.9885 today to receive a 2009-2010 Teacher Guide, reservation forms and discount cards. Guides and reservation forms will be available online soon.

HTY's drama education department creates a Second Stage Education Guide for each play and sends it to all teachers attending that play. Second Stage contains activities and suggested readings to help students prepare for seeing the productions, as well to deepen the experience within the classroom by connecting the plays with the curriculum. Second Stage Education Guides can be downloaded from our Education Resources page.

During the 2009-2010 season, general student tickets are $5.00. Student Discount Cards can be purchased in advance for $4 per student. Children on free and reduced lunch may be eligible for discounts. Contact Katie for information (839-9885, schools@htyweb.org).

One teacher per class and required assistants are admitted free of charge with their classes, although we do encourage them to pay to help meet our costs. All other adults pay $5.00. It currently costs HTY approximately $15.00 per student to mount plays, so ticket fees cover less than half our costs.

For reservations, please call us at 808-839-9885 or write to schools@htyweb.org.
