CREATIVE TEAM

Annie is from Scotland and has worked as a director and writer in theatre for children for nearly 30 years, directing for leading companies across the UK. She was the Artistic Director of Polka Theatre for Children in London before arriving in Hawaii in 2006. Several of her shows have toured extensively across Europe, Asia, USA and Canada including the New Victory Theatre in NYC. She serves on the Board of HEARTS Hawaii and Ceeds of Peace. For HTY she has written and directed several shows including Blue, The Tiny Tree, Ouch! and Auntie Martha and the Nene. Auntie Martha is currently touring a Chinese adaptation in Beijing and Shanghai. Blue has enjoyed two Christmas runs at Imagination Stage in DC and a run at Dallas Children’s Theatre where it will play this year. Annie loves HTY and the opportunity to create new work for our wonderful audiences!
